MANCHESTER - Roy Keane tries to wage the spirit of Manchester United. Keane hopes the Red Devils beat Barcelona in the Champions League final, this year.
Keane is a player who helped bring United won the treble in the 1999 season, after beating Bayern Munich at the Camp Nou. Now, Sir Alex Ferguson's troops will face Barcelona in the final at Wembley this month.
Champions League final this year, is the ultimate test matches in the 2008-09 competition past. In a match in Rome, Italy, the Red Devils must recognize the benefits of Barcelona with the score 0-2.
However, this year, Keane is optimistic United will be champions. "At Wembley, United's fans will fill Wembley Stadium. With their full support, surely United can beat Barcelona,"said Keane, as reported by the Daily Mail, Friday (05/13/2011)."United have to play the maximum to beat Barcelona and my concern is the players who suffered injuries. Power of Barcelona's first team is very tough, menganggumkan, but maybe they are not as strong as United's strength,"said Keane.
"Conversely, if Barcelona could end the competition with La Liga players to maintain fitness and may mengistirahtkan a number of players, then Barcelona could probably get good results," said former United captain.
